| AMD licenses Rambus for PCI Express, DDR tech MEMORY IP FIRM Rambus said AMD has taken out a five year licence to use DDR types of memory, PCI Express, FB-DIMMs and other technology for $75 million. The licence covers not only XDR memory but DDR2 and DDR3. This, said Rambus, is a good start for the firm because it hasn’t done much licensing of controller licences. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28676
