| Are AMD and Intel close to settling? THE WAR DRUMS have gone silent and there's no sign of smoke signals in the antitrust case AMD launched against Intel back at the end of June. Let's hope the two firms aren't hatching up a settlement, because that would deprive us of so much spectator sport in what promises to be the chip event of 2006. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=26437
