How to do it right! Of course, it would have been nice to see the cooling solution as well and the mate that they got. We have of course been testing Threadripper ourselves (AMD Ryzen Threadripper Coldplate Mounting and Mating) and run into issues with the review kit that was supplied. It is Asetek AIO solution is absolute trash when it comes to overclocking Threadripper, so don't even think about it. However, we have been hard at work getting a bit heavier-duty solution configured to take its place. Of course the Threadripper's TR4 socket having totally new dimensions with an odd non-rectangular offset does not make that the easiest thing to do in in a pinch.
