 |  AMD B850 and B840 chipset motherboards might wait for next year While motherboard makers are announcing their upcoming X870 and X870E motherboards, mainstream versions based on B850 and B840 chipset might not be coming before early next year, at least according to the report from Computerbase.de. The B850 and B840 motherboards, as the successor of the B650(E) chipset motherboards, should be quite popular due to their price, despite the fact these will lack USB 4 support and have optional PCIe Gen 5 support for graphics.
