| AMD Athlon II X2 215 Processor In the end, there is no miracle. Athlon II X2 215 is a bit faster than Celeron, but slower than Pentium. It's positioned on a par with the lowest-end Celeron anyway. Besides, it works well with DDR3 memory. Something which LGA775 processors, especially low-end, cannot boast of. http://ixbtlabs.com/articles3/cpu/am...n2-215-p1.html

| I just bought my parents a computer with this CPU. It came with 2gb memory, 250gb hdd, and Win7 Home Premium from Compaq for $249. Considering my parents were using my old PC from about 4 builds ago that was running an OC'd P4 at 3.6Ghz, this was a HUGE upgrade. They only use it for mail and web browsing and this is more than enough muscle for them. The thing they love the most? Its quiet as hell. Especially compared to my old beast. |
