Alongside the Ryzen 3 7300X

A fresh leak from the Geekbench database has revealed two new upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs, the 10-core/20-thread Ryzen 7 7800X and the 4-core/8-thread Ryzen 3 7300X.

Considering that it is based on Zen 4 architecture, the Ryzen 7 7800X is based on a dual-CCD configuration, with 5-cores per CCD, leaving it with 32MB of L3 cache per CCD, or a total of 74MB of cache (10MB L2 + 64MB L3). The engineering sample (ES) spotted on Geekbench was working at 4.5GHz base and 5.4GHz Boost clocks. It is left to be seen if the TDP will still be set at 105W, or somewhat closer to the Ryzen 9 series, at 170W.

AMD will likely position the Ryzen 7 7700X against the Core i7-13700K, which could also mean that it could launch at a similar price point as the Ryzen 7 7700X, $399. It also means that the Ryzen 7 7700X could drop down closer to the Intel Core i5-13600K.

In addition to the Ryzen 7 7800X, Geekbench database also revealed the Ryzen 3 7300X, a 4-core/8-thread CPU. It packs 32MB of L3 cache and works at rather high 4.5GHz base and 5.0GHz boost clocks. The Ryzen 3 7300X should be positioned against Intel's Core i3-12300.

In the Geekbench benchmark, as reported by VIdeocardz.com, the Ryzen 7 7800X scores 16163 points in multi-thread and 2097 in the single-thread benchmark, making it around 15 percent faster than the Ryzen 7 7700X in the multi-threaded benchmark. The Ryzen 3 7300X gets 7682 and 1984 scores, respectively.
