Default Aerocool announces “Haswell” support for the Power Supply Units

Aerocool Advanced Technologies Ltd. is one of the DYI market leaders, offering a full line of gaming gear including cases, power supplies and peripherals. With the launch of the new Intel Haswell platform, Aerocool is proud to announce, that its Power Supply Units (PSU) are compatible with the latest platform. Aerocool engineers conducted numerous different tests with various system configurations with full success.

Tony Lin, the CEO of Aerocool Advanced Technologies Ltd. pointed out: “The report about new “Haswell” C6/C7 by media VR-Zone stating, “Is your power supply ready for Haswell?”, highlights an expected incompatibility issue on latest platform and causes panic in the industry within these weeks”.

The new generation Intel™ „Haswell” CPUs are introduced with the highest C6/C7 energy-saving states, requiring a minimum load of 0,05 A on 12V2 rail, which is only one-tenth of former “Ivy Bridge” (3rd Generation) processors, which required 0,5 A. Thanks to the conducted tests, Aerocool Power Supply Units were able to come back from the energy-saving states without any issues whatsoever, which eases the tense situation and clears the confusion in the market regarding the support of “Haswell” CPUs. Users, considering to upgrade to the 4th Generation processors, can therefore rely on the wide PSU portfolio from Aerocool.
