Default ADATA hits 5531MHz with XPG Spectrix D80 RGB memory module

With LN2 cooling

ADATA was keen to announce that its XPG Spectrix D80 RGB memory module has hit a rather impressive 5531MHz under LN2 cooling, which is quite a feat.

The ADATA XPG Spectrix D80 RGB memory, which was only recently announced, uses a 10-layer PCB with high-quality binned chips and comes with a frequency range from 2,666MHz to 5,000MHz. The standard XPG Spectrix D80 RGB memory modules use a hybrid air and liquid cooling heatsink.

The module was running on an overclocked system with MSI's X299 Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard and Intel Core i7-7740X CPU. The single 8GB overclocked module was running at 2765.6MHz at CL 12-31-31-58 latency and it was overclocked by ADATA's XPG team and MSI's OC team.

You can check out the official validation at HWBOT.org, and ADATA also noted that the same memory will be displayed at the Computex 2018 show.
