Default ADATA hits 5,584MHz with XPG Spectrix D80 memory

New overclocking record

ADATA was proud to announce that its XPG Spectrix D80 RGB memory module has hit 5,584MHz while running on a 9th generation Core i9 CU and Z390 motherboard.

The record was done on MSI's MPG Z390i Gaming Edge AC motherboard with LN2-cooled Core i9-9900K CPU.

The result, according to ADATA, comes on heels of the recent announcement for the establishment of the XPG Overclocking Lab (XOCL) and should be just one of the first results coming from this lab.

While it is just for show, it is nice to see companies and overclockers pushing those records to a whole new level.
