Default Acer TravelMate 8000 Review

Have notebook computers approached desktop performance? In the last year notebook manufactures have been pushing out unit’s that are getting closer and closer to the speed of desktops, but does this limit the useability when you are using it as a notebook should be used, on a battery? The Acer TravelMate 8000 redefines notebook performance and packs in the new Intel® Pentium® M Processor 745 Donathan 1.8GHz processor which has 2MB L2 cache and a 400MHz FSB.
