| 90% of AMD CPUs To Be 65nm By End Of 07 By the end of 2007, AMD's complete dual-core CPU lineup, as well as 80% of the single-core segment, will be manufactured using 65nm process technology, the makers indicated. About 18 months after mass production of AMD's first 65nm CPU, the chip vendor will announce its first 45nm-made product, which will appear in its next-generation Socket AM3 CPU lineup, said the makers.
