Default 2017 is the year of 8GB RAM phones

But laptops / tablets might benefit

It looks like that 2017 is going to be a year of 8GB RAM with high-end phones. Most manufacturers support 8GB with their phones and there is a clear trend to add more Random Access Memory to phones. Still tablets and laptops will benefit, as well.
