Default Wireless connection to Monitor/Display

For more than two years, I was hoping a device allowing wireless connectivity from PC to monitor would be marketed. Two years afterward, I had hope that the price of such device would be down from the high initial price to a more affordable range of ~$100.

No such luck.

When I went to the manufacturer website; the product is not listed.
