Upgrade

I am beginning to follow hardware again because I wanna try a new setup .

My main upgrade was a Graca

- X850XT PCI-E @ 433€
- X850Pro vivo @ ... maybe 380-400€ ?

But since it is just out in .de I need to wait for the prices and let see if the Vivo can be flashed into a XT.

My other upgrades are CPU - Mainboard.

CPU

- AMD 64 3000+/3200+/3500+ (for oc'ing)

Mobo

- Waiting for nforce4 and good oc board without voltage mods, dunno what brand.

What I already have.

Eheim 1048, kingston 2*256BH5 , Corsair 2*256 BH6 , DDR booster.

little upgrades :

-New CPU waterblock
-New NB block
-New graca block
- +extra silent/small pump for NB+graca.

Where i am doubting on :

- sell all my ram and buy 2*512MB gskill.

Lets hope i got enough money from weekendjob and my current hardware to buy this setup

Any suggestions or info about a mobo is always welcome?

cpu: right now, I'd say 3000+ they oc about as good as the 3500+ anyway
but on the other hand, you could wait untill the E0 revisions are out and see how those perform (they should be much better but wait and see in my humble opinion)

mobo: dfi lp ut nf4 ultra (can be modded into full sli with great ease)

2*512 G.Skill --> pc4400 1GBLE (best choice for a 1 Gig set according to Onepagebook himself )

*edit* maybe considder some buying some good BH-5? From what I hear, 2*512 BH-5 / BH-6 clocks quite good on A64, I've seen several people doing 250 mhz with theirs.
or some memory with winbond UTT chips (with brainpower pcb? I haven't been following this so I don't know if they perform better with a brainpower pcb or not...). Macci claims nothing can beat BH-*/UTT at ~260mhz properly tweaked.

on the dfi, you also won't have problems with volts, you can switch form the 3.3V line to the 5V line (allows up to 4V to your ram) but Oskar Wu says if you do, place a fan over the mosfets or only use 5V for benching purposes

Some good info kristos!

I got 2*256MB kingston BH-5, 2bad it isn't 512MB.
But it can do 280fsb 2-2-2-6 on 3.4V (single channel)

So i'll stick with my BH5 and bench a bit then .

I doubting between X850Pro or the X800XL.

X800Xl (0.11µ= 350$
X850Pro (0.13µ)=399$

http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/177/
http://www.driverheaven.net/reviews/x800xl/
http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NzAw

I would go for the X800XL bcause of the 0.11µ (oc?!)core but i rather wait till more guys have such cards so I can compare those cards.

I got the 431 and I can't think of a bad thing about this screen.

At school we got a few pc's with that samsung screen, and I don't notice any difference, but at school a don't game.

But I think they'll both very good screens.

Dunno what the 435 is, allmost the same as the 431?
