Powering up a Macron 300 Watt power supply without mobo

First of all, I tried al the links found in the hwfaq, but it didn't work. I'd like to power up my macron power supply without a motherboard, but normally you should just connect the green wire with 1 of the ground wires.

Problem is, my power supply doesn't have a green wire
I tried working following the schemes found on the net, but it didn't work either

it just doesn't boot (the green wire that's supposed to be green is white in my case)

Anyone with a sollution?

in some cases, you have to attach at least one device (eg. a floppydrive) in order for the psu to start.
