| format/partition util and defragment util I occasionally hear that although the defragment tool in winxp is way better then it used to be, it's still crap So I wanted to know what a better (read: the best!! ) defrag tool is, preferably free- or shareware but doesn't have to be Also, I have recently had to format again and I had the same problems I 've had once before: hangs on looking for previous windows installation new installs or repairs corrupted, the one after the other etc. etc. And since those tools from maxtor and western digital don't allow partition formatting but require you to delete all your partitions before you can format. I'm also looking for a tool that would allow me to boot, format partitions and all the rest that comes with this sort of tasks |
