Default Decent case + power supply

I'll have the following system:

1024 DDR ram
Geforce 6800 GT AGP or Radeon X800 XT PCI-E
MSI neo 2 plat. or MSI neo 4
(don't know the mobo and graka yet.. have to decide)
Amd Athlon 3500+
Maxtor 160 GIG
DVD RW: NEC 3500
DVD: Liteon

I heard I at least need a 350W power supply.. many people said the Antec Sonata would be perfect for me.. but is there another option? maybe less expensive.. a nice case with a good power supply though...

If you want a (desent) case with a desent psu, go enermax, all others have rather sucky psu's in their cases.

or if you can, spend some.
buy the case you want, preferably withouth psu and buy a desent psu seperately.

ocz has some excellent psu's. very stable, very powerfull, pricy but not too pricy and it's worth it. antec has some good psu's too but not as good as ocz's and they cost just as much. then there's pc power & cooling. excellent psu, slightly better then the ocz's but they cost far more.

investing in a sonata is not an easy decision, and i regretted it for the first few months of owning mine until i figured out its nuances and how to make it shine

antec has some pretty decent solution series cases, but all in all, the sonata is definately the best for what you get
