Default Sata problem

Ik het een Sata hd gekocht van 120 gig
het is ne maxtor diamond max plus 9 met 8mb cache.

mobo: asus a7n8x deluxe
nieuwste bios, nieuwste drivers voor sata controller

Tijdens de installatie van windows xp druk je op f6 en je installeert de sata drivers,
bij volgende stap kopiërt windows bestanden naar je schijf, dit gebeurt in schokken dat is toch niet normaal?

wanneer ik de schijf dan gebruik als extra storage en er bestanden naar kopieer in windows gaat het ook in schokken en durft windows freezen zodat enkel reset nog helpt.

Waar zit het probleem?

Steeds laatste nieuwe bios/drivers gebruiken.

ik heb de nieuwste drivers en bios.
bios mobo = 1006

nog andere oplossingen?
