problem with OCZ pc4000VX gold I bought myself 1Gb of that RAM last weekend. But yesterday my pc sudenly chrashed, and everytime I booted and try to do something my pc got a blue screen. I tried to test these lats with super pi and other benches, but the result said that the RAM was stable. Because my windows install was pretty f*cked up, I tried to reinstall windows (at that point I didn't knew it was a RAM problem). While windows was copying the files it allways stopped at 78% and said it could not copy the next files. After I tried anything (even rebuilded my pc) I tried to replace my new RAM with my old RAM, and sudenly everything worked again. Now I reinstalled windows and installed my new RAM again to test, and with every program I opened it gave errors like. "could not writte to memory" etc.... My windows install f*cked up again and now I just reinstalled windows again. Someone know what can be the problem? Bad RAM? Not compatible with an NF7-S? I just think it is bad RAM, because the RAM wasn't even able to do 200 fsb at 2-3-3-8 at 3.2V

Try command rate (T1) = Off (=T2) Maybe they just run a bit hot, have a fan blowing some air over it and run memtest.

Ok , RAM is broken. Just did a lot of testing. tried the following setups with 3 different bioses. modded with cpc modded without cpc standard abit bios setups 2x OCZ 512MB (tried every slot combination) 1x OCZ stick 1 (tried every slot combination) 1x OCZ stick 2 (tried every slot combination) 1x OCZ stick 1 + 1x corsair 256MB 1x OCZ stick 2 + 1x corsair 256MB 1x OCZ stick 1 + 2x corsair 256MB (to test if the 1GB problem is true) 1x OCZ stick 2 + 2x corsair 256MB (to test if the 1GB problem is true) All the setups with stick 2 failed. With stick 2 only I got a reboot as soon as windows started. If I use stick 2 with other memory sticks it doesn't crash very quick, but ones I start some memory hungry program I get a reboot. Conclusion: memory stick 2 is :grum:
