| Little upgrade Well i think i really need a little upgrade my system xp1600@192x10.5 Albatr ti4280PV abit kr7-a raid 512 infineon 2700 it doesn´t run doom3 full detail, but it runs everything smooth "enough" for me, except for loading times (mmorpgs) etc... are getting a litlle anoying so i decided to upgrade my little beast a bit i was thinking of an extra 512 ram , 120gig hdd and a gforce 6600gt ? or could someone else recommend me something better ? and if i add another 512 ram, does it have to be the same brand (infineon) ? |

| depends on the budget if you play mmorpg's, the extra 512mb will do wonders for you it's not a must to get the same brand and/or model but it's advisable. the 120 gig, if you can spare a few extra bucks, I'd go for a beefier model, gig's come real cheap nowadays... offcourse if you don't need it you shouldn't. the vidcard, depends on your budget for the price of a GT, you're only other option would be a 9800pro wich are very hard to come by nowadays but if you're again willing to spend a little more , do a little software modding and hope you get lucky, you could get a 6800le or 6800 and unlock the pipelines with rivatuner. |
