| Wip : Ss Hi folks, After my single stage practise unit i thought it was time to make something worthy to use With some luck i found a free and useable coolgroup. It had some nice components in it and all they needed was some refurb loving Here are some pics to start with The victim Trading old for new Made proces, paintjob The compressor is a pretty strong Uniti hermetique CAE9460T. I wil update this now and then while more has been done *edit* A bit more work has been done Overall look without fanhouse New vibrationpads underneath the compressor, the old ones were really grannystyle Any comments on the de-superheater coil? The suction lenght? I'm going to take 2.4M cappilair |

This unit wil be complicated, i have a R22-502 compressor, so i'm forced to put an alternative gas on it wich is R417A or if possible to change oil R402a. And i have no idea how that will work out, my best gas laying around is R410A. But i can't use that one cause it would kill the oil and compressor . I'm hoping to reach at least -50°c idle | |

| Yesterday first test of the system . Learned allot it seems that evap design is really important , while gassing the system and starting it, temps were dropping very very fast to -40, once the system was filled temps dropped back to a loazy -25°c within secs...i was scratching my head, how could this be possible??? -->evap I made a custom test evap at work , but it has no canals and the capilair lays next to the suction line, in other words , it goes in and gets sucked away before it even makes change to evaporate lol. Anyhow, a decent evap wil be made so we can test again. System was filled with R417A |
