Where to find (+)6W rheostats

Hello,

i'm looking for days now to find suitable rheostat (+)6W to use for self made rheobus.

I find potentio meters anywhere but at low W

Where do you , case-modders buy this in Belgium ?

TIA

... seller outside belgium is OK though.

Many baybus's have 8-20W potentiometers.

mostly, they use a LM317 scheme for that. you can buy really heavy pot's for that but they're very expensive

search the news section for that

thanks for replying .....

i'm not sure what you mean.

"you can buy really heavy pot's for that..."

Do you mean pot's with LM317 regulator are very expensive ?

What pot specs do use DIY 's in Belgium. As i wrote i didn't find rheostats in Belgium.

(i looked up in the news and find
this thread Noise Isolator PWM Fan Controller @ Mod The Box with link to LM317 regulator scheme )
