yo!new to all this.trying to overclock my AMD 500mgh k6-2,but most of what i`ve found doesn`t seem to pertain to me.is their any hope?

I don't think you can efficiently increase the speed of your CPU. Even if you were able to overclock it to ~600Mhz, the speed increase will hardly be noticable.

starting from the AMD Tbird/Duron and INTEL P4 Northwood things started to get interesting when it comes down to overclocking
