| OC Barton 2500+ Need advise Just started trying to OC my Barton 2500+ for the first time. My specs are: Processor: AMD XP 2500+ Cooling: Zalman Copper Flower (CNPS6000-CU) (Total of 2 fans and 1 heatsink) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-7N400 (NFORCE2) RAM: 256MB 333MHZ (I know this is ****, getting more soon!) I built this system from scratch but am needing the experts advise to OC My system normally runs at temperatures 38-40C I've tried pushing up the cpu freq from 11 to 12 but when i exit bios the system just hangs. I always save on exit from bios. but when it restarts it dosen't even start bios again, and there is no picture onscreen. When i press the restart button it starts perfect but resets my original bios settings. how do i get this sorted. its probably a simple mistake i'm making. Thanks for ur time Mak |

| I woudn't go any much further with those temps , the zalman isn't suposed to be an overclocker Stresstest your system 24 or 48 hours also hé? Prime95 + 3dmark = pretty stressfull what is the Vcore atm ? checked the temps in your bios? If your system is silent , than the overall is nice , and i would keep it this way .

| Managed to squeeze FSB Freq up to 205. Tried 210 but no boot. Temp seems to even out at 45C now. Temp last night was 49C but the room must have been very hot. Are there any fans/heatsinks you would recommend to reduce the temp? Thanks yet again Mak |
