Default Newbie did his first casemod

I'm new at modding but i'll guess you must try everything in life, sooo..
The first project i planned was a case window.
I searched te web for a nice tribal pic and there it was : a shark !
Next step: Taping the case and transfered the logo on the case
The dremel came out of the closet and did his job :

Next step was grinding the whole case for a nice metal look :

Now i'm looking for a plexi window, but i couldn't resist to give it a preview :
In daylight

In Dark

the light in the case is just a standard led from my motherboard...
i'll add blue and uv in it asap....
Does anyone know how i can get those red/green leds gone ?

that mods looks familiar :-)

great work on the details!

do note that the bare metal look will only last 6-9months, then you'll see corrosion setting in, best to give it a transparant protective coating.

try taking some various grades of sandpaper and polishign that metal up

do 2-4-600 maybe even higher and get it to look nice

otherwise, looks a lot nicer than my first mod (redneck with a jigsaw, drill, and duct tape)
