| My first case Mod Hope I can fit in here. Here's one of my wife's In-Win A500 that was just screaming for help. She's into the whole Egyptian scene, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Nothing special, mostly just a paintjob and a light, but she likes it and I had fun. Sorry for the crappy pics - I have an older digital camera, and forgot to set it for indoor pics. First, I painted the chassis with some metallic gold enamel. Then cut out the 'Eye of Horus' with my trusty Dremel. Used a hot glue gun to stick the 3-way lazer LED in there. Jammed everything back in and waited for the new skins. I wound up painting the skins with Fleckstone Sandstone paint - the whole thing kinda looks like a block of sandstone now. Perfect backdrop for all the heiroglyphics and crypt murals I had planned. The murals were super-easy, since I used a combination of Sharpies, Pentel magic-markers, and a China Pencil (for the white areas). Yup - surprise... it's magic markers, not paint. Then I sealed the artwork with a matte clear coat. The one on the left was taken straight off a clock she bought, featuring Isis, Osirus, and a Pharoah on Judgement Day. I also added some extra things I swiped from Stargate SG-1. The panel on the right is completely original with Anubis and Horus supporting the Unreal Tournament logo - she plays it all the time and kicks much arse. And when you turn out the lights - tada! It glows. Hope ya like it... I've got a few more, and some more planned as well. |

| Hi Mr.4x4, how about some real pictures. My 4x4 wouldn't engage the front hub; it's now 2x4.
