Default MadMark Guide (XS Compo version)

7 easy steps to submit your 3dmark score from within MadMark.

Step 1:
Download madmark v0.17bis (600kb).
If you don't have a JVM, or if madmark doesn't want to launch for some reason, download the version with a JVM included (only do this when necessary, 16mb).

Unrar the file.

Step 6:

A project name or discription is not required for the compo. You could add multiple tests, but the standard setting is to run 3dmark2001 once on default settings.

In a nutshell: just click start and wait the bench to complete.

The very first time you do this, Fraps might not work properly. If a fraps dialogue pops up, just check the option "enable framerate to be saved to FRAPSSEC.TXT every second" in order to run madmark properly!

Step 7:

After the benchmarks are finished, click the third tab (results and comparison). To know your 3dmark score, select the "application: 3dmark..." node. if you want to submit your results, click submit and it should open the correct url in your browser.
