Default got me a new(old) case

new case

Just got me one of this baby’s. It’s a full metal jacket one this 1.
About 3mm thick I think. The weight is about a ton; don’t be fooled by the handle.
In the power supply there is an awesome alu fan of 12cm and about 5cm thick.
It runs at 12v and makes 0,3 watts it’s really silent and moves a lot of air. If there’s somebody interested to give the listed price for this baby from this site ibm price list contact me

don't know what to with this yet.
maybe mod it for new lan pc??
don't know ? any suggestions welkom

weighs a TON <> new Lan PC

hmmm
are you sure you can fit a recent motherboard in there?
seems to me that case is still on AT standards...

how much did you pay for it?

it scores high in the "most ugly off all PC cases" category though

There is a little sticker on the case that says warning 18kg /20lb
Now I took it apart and the thing that made it heavy was the power supply and the brackets for the hd.
Looks to me like it’s made of alu and not iron like I first thought, to be sure I have to drill a hole in the case but that’s after I’ve decided what to do with it
The power supply is a monster!
Got some pics
As a reference I’ve put a normal atx-supply next to it and the 12cm alu fan.
