| A few pointers. Before you actually start benching for results or scores, make sure you know the limitations of your hardware individually. So: - Check max BCLK - Figure out how the uncore scales per MHZ and temperature - Check how decent your RAM is: per volt, per timings - Figure out initial limitations of your cpu for HT on, HT off and disabled cores - Figure out what core is best When you know the limitations of the setup, you know the size of your playing field. Then it's just a matter of trying out different combinations. What temp is that SS capable of? |

| Wil do that only => - Check how decent your RAM is: per volt, per timings how do i do this? This is somthing thats alway's giving me a (koppijn) headage. And the ss => idle = -50°C a -55°C and load => -40°C a 45°C |

| Depends on what type of memory you have. Elpida? Micron? |

| If you did that run in XP it would have been a bit better ... nice unit man, pretty jealous of it... them rams hould at least do 1600Mhz C8... My rev 2.1 hit abrick wall at 1680Mhz (upping volts, loosening times doesn't help) the Rev 2.2 of Gamer do 1900mhz C8 at 1.7 volts... Who are Hardpoint OC ?

And thanks, i've been saving for that unit long and finaly got the balls to order it And i am in love and about the ram yeah they run at 1600Mhz ^^ but i lowerd them because I was not sure they would keep it al stable enough to bench and upload it and hearing that makes me wanne remount the evap and start trying out the rams And actually Hardpoint OC was part of somthing bigger. During the summor me and some one else were planning on building a website for reviews, casemodding. He was going to do the code for the site and me the reviews. But wel he wel left me in the dark O.o Sow the site and benchteam are dead But the idea is stil alive, sow i made a blog for my reviews (the link is here on the forum). And wel I rejoined Madshrimps sow at least I could keep on benching and be part of a Belguim team | |
