Athlon 2500+ overclocking

Do all athlon 2500+ have to be unlocked to increase the multiplier or do some come not locked. i just bought mine and havent recieved it yet, just wondering not trying to get much more out of it maybe to 11x. if anyone has any good links to show how.

If yours is a week 39+ or 49+ (don't remember although I think it was 39+) it'll more then likely be multiplier locked.

There's a bridge mod that 'll allow you to change the multi's with a proggy used to set the multi on from windows on desktops (can't give you the link cuz' I'm at work right now and I can't get to my favorites

)

but there was something mentioned in that watercooling block review that's on the MADshrimps newspage about some sort of strip that if I got it correctly (my german sucks and my translator didn't help me out much eather) does the same thing.
