| If money is no object I'd choose these: Chipset blok: CPUFX vidcard WB 70€ @pc-mac2000.com (french version) Pump: Eheim 1250 (1200l/h) @local shop +- 65€ Rad: Money & enough space: 2* BI xtreme in series with 2 papst 120mm FGM (80CFM) 2*90€ + 2*29€ (pcmac & tones) = 240€ Less money, loud sound: 1* BI xtreme with high capacity 120mm fan (>120CFM) 1*90 + 1*20 = 110€ Less money, less sound: 1* BI 2 (double rad) with 2 papst 120mm FGM (80CFM) fans. 85 + 20€ = 105€ I've chosen for the last solution, but if money were no object, I'd choose for the first one. You'll need the space to place 2 BI rads though. Res: small plexi: easier, cheaper and more practical than fill & bleed 50€ @pcmac Tubing: 3m silicon tubing. +- 3€ / metre Edit: choose your rad & fan wisely, pelts make your water run HOT! :fire: |

| The Swiftie looks good and may perform OK, but it has 2 major downsides: - alu housing: conducts heat twice as bad as copper. It's not a good idea to mix copper rads with alu waterblocks either. - the hollow "room" inside conducts heat far less efficient than a channel like in most waterblocks. OPP gave it a good review, but he has little experience with vidcard WB's and he didn't compare it to another... so excuse me for being a little sceptic. @fredperry: doesn't make any noticable difference if you use a small reservoir. |

| Use antifreeze, it 'll prevent bacterial growth (or ice in use with waterchiller). That rad looks like one bad mofo.

| I'll be buying a wc setup soon. but It'll probably have to fit on a radeon 9700. what I'll do is buy the whole setup and let them deliver it to one of you WC-geeks. So that I can come by and have some explanations, coz WATER+ME = weird effects or I'll try and tap off my hose from the prometheia :-)

| a second hand vapochill could do the trick.... vapochill = 100-110 watt, so this should be enough for that R 9700. maybe I'm selling mine .... |
