Torture indeed

my usual way of making sure a system is stable, combo 3DMark2001 benchmark in loop + prime95

if that runs 24h+ your system is 100% stable.

you can run it @ higher speeds, but random reboots or data corruption is more likely then.

Just flashed new BIOS from Epox
FSB can now go to 250 Mhz, I guess
I'll later try to get FSB above 200MHz
now back on 8*200 due to bios update

This is my work PC = current PC @ home
and actually only PC too
but I have little spare system: Duron 1300, DDR PC2100, mobo ECS and a el cheapo case.
When a crash happens, I just have to plug harddisk and VGA card in spare system

I'll sum up my victims
ECS K7VTA3, Abit KG7
Tbird 1.33, Palo 1800+, Tbred A 1800+

Next step is Prom or Vapo

By mastering the art of overclocking

Just by trying and testing. But it were el cheapo procs and mobo's

Now I have bought my things with a lot of consideration
