Xthermal's BTF120PRO series of 120mm fans are available both with and without LEDs, but as the product name suggests our version on test here today features said LED to be more pleasing on the eye. Anyhow, let's begin with a look at the retail packaging for this piece of hardware.

If you were wondering what colour that LED was, the box art gives it away - It's white. Certainly makes for a pleasant change from the blue LEDs that seem to crop up on every single electronics product these days. Also mentioned is that a low noise adapter is included with the fan, supposedly reducing its noise level down to just 9 decibels.
