| Thermaltake Silent Boost RX K8 heatsink n the past couple years, CPU cooler manufacturers have made a big move to alternative cooling technologies such as heatpipe and phase exchange. My computer sports one such CPU cooler and I love it. When Thermaltake sent us a “conventional” CPU cooler I was doubtful that it would perform much better than a stock CPU cooler. I’ve recently seen alternative technology CPU coolers that performed just barely above a stock CPU cooler. Thermaltake did throw a little spin on this CPU cooler by using a reverse flow fan. That can’t help much right? Let’s find out.
