| Scythe Kama Bay: Silent But Deadly The Kama is simply a silent 120mm fan encased in a steel painted housing and additional mounting hardware. The paint has a nice matte finish and looks very durable. The front of the unit is made of a mesh that allows 60% airflow and a filter. The Kama can be mounted horizontally (laying flat) into a single drive bay, or can be mounted vertically (standing up) to blow air directly into the case, but takes up three drive bays. The fan is extremely quiet, rotating at 800rpm, with a noise level of 12 dBA! An average room is usually 16-18dBA, so this fan is definately quieter than the computer that hosts it. The fan still manages to push out 30 cubic feet of air per minute, which is quite impressive for a silent fan.
