| Noctua presents NH-U9F CPU cooler Vienna, December 4th 2006 - Noctua today presented the successor of its NH-U9 CPU cooler, which has been recommended by over 50 leading international websites and magazines. The new NH-U9F comes equipped with a 92mm Noctua SSO-Bearing fan that has a minimum noise rating of only 7dB(A). It's fully AM2 compatible and can be installed turned by 90° in order to ensure an optimal orientation and compatibility. Thanks to its compact size, the NH-U9F is the perfect premium-class cooler for all applications demanding excellent cooling performance, outstanding quietness and maximum compatibility. "After the big success of our fan series and the NH-U12F, many customers have asked us whether there'll be a new version of the NH-U9 that includes a fan", says Mag. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO. "With the NH-U9F, we've finally added a more compact ultra-low-noise cooler with fan to our product line!" The 92mm fan used on the NH-U9F employs Noctua's magnetically centred, self lubricating oil-pressure bearing (SSO-Bearing) and boasts a maximum airflow of 58m³/h. Thanks to the supplied Ultra-Low-Noise adaptor, the noise level can be lowered to only 7dB(A)! As a result, the NH-U9 is ideal for demanding high-performance cooling as well as true ultra-low-noise operation. The new NH-U9F is compatible with socket LGA 775, 754, 939, 940 & AM2 and can be installed turned by 90° in order to ensure an optimal positioning of the cooler within the airflow inside the case and to evade compatibility issues with non-standard chipset coolers or RAM modules. "In addition to factors such as cooling performance, quietness of operation, long-term stability and compatibility, we attach great importance to the reliability of the mounting system", says Mag. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO. "The SecuFirm™ mounting system of the NH-U9F makes it possible to safely transport the assembled system without any risk even though the cooler exceeds the 450g weight specification established by Intel and AMD." Noctua's SecuFirm™ mounting system guarantees optimal contact pressure and maximum security thanks to the use of a backplate and spring-loaded screws. Technical specifications Detailed specifications of the NH-U9F and background information on the Noctua SSO bearing can be found at www.noctua.at Details: http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=p...s_id=10&lng=en Prices and availability The NH-U12F are available with immediate effect.
