| Deal of the week: A 45nm Core 2 Quad for $195 As we reported earlier this week, Intel has given prices in its processor line a little trim. The cuts have hit the company's two cheapest quad-core offerings, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 and Core 2 Quad Q8200, which went down to a respective $183 and $193 in 1,000-unit quantities. That's not much of a drop for the Q6600, but the Q8200 is now about $30 cheaper. A quick look at our price search engine shows the Q8200 is now available for $195 with free shipping at Newegg—that's just $2 above the bulk price, and if you purchase one today, you get a free copy of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed out of the deal. http://techreport.com/discussions.x/15767
