| Did the same thing, cost me 0 Got 2 shuttle boards and a PIII 733 from my dad's work, added an old P&A heatsink w/ a quiet 80mm fan, S3 Virge PCI graka, an old hdd (large enough for WinXP, but to noisy for the night), put this in a case and feeded it with and old 250W psu (wich makes a strange noise, but I think it are the coils vibrating, or something like that). It works, albeit pretty slow, the thing starter by downloading a unit wich takes a lot of hours per step |

| Yep, it's slow...currently working on p2002 with 7500 frames at 1'13" per frame. That's 152 hours for the wu. On the plus side, it doesn't use much power, is dead quiet, and doesn't suffer from heat concerns on 100°F days. Machines like these can be a good solution for teams where 5% of the team is doing 95% of the work. |

a very large cost indeed; €2400 in one year; I decided to stop folding when I saw the bill.
