IntroductionmCubed introduced their first product back in 2004, named the T-Balancer XL
we tested it and found it to be the most advanced and feature rich fan controller out there; rather than waiting for the competition to catch up, mCubed decided to up the stakes and they’ve released the T-Balancer bigNG, which aims to improve on the features and capabilities of the XL; Our local reviewer Michiel takes a closer look:
mCubed recently proudly announced the T-balancer bigNG or New Generation fan controller. With both analogue and digital sensors, support for a water-cooling control, an 80W maximum power drain and great monitoring software, it's no surprise this unit is viewed as what could be the best fan controller available today. Can it make up for the hype? .
Package/features and specsThe bigNG fan controller comes in a cardboard box wrapped in a plastic cover. There are no indications on the box itself by the way. There's only the manual to be found behind the plastic and beyond that, this could well be one of the simplest and most boring packages ever made. Not much to get excited about, so let us quickly open it and find out what's inside.
The package contains the following:
T-Balancer bigNG fan controller unit
two digital temperature sensors
four analogue temperature sensors
manual
slot bracket
internal USB cable
mCubed superstrong adhessive tape
software disc
mounting material
acrylic case
