Battlefield 2 is a large multiplayer game (or single player Skirmish if you play offline), it has a very scalable graphics engine but it?s known to be a resource hog. We loaded a single player game while the AI handled the enemy soldiers. The map we went through is called Gulf of Oman.

BF2 loves ATI and we've seen in the past that ATI has a lead in the game over NVIDIA, we got similar results in our tests here today, but again remember that the 7600GT is running below specifications.

1024x768 doesn?t quite tax the X1800GTO, even with 4xAA/8xAF enabled; This looks promising.

The X1800GTO keeps pumping out high frame rates even at 1280x960 4xAA/8xAF never going below 50FPS.
