Almost half around the world in less then one day :Gigabyte's NL blond goddess Bernice arranged my Flight ticket. First up, a short trip of 35 minutes from Zaventem to Schiphol, located in the almost soon to flooded Netherlands. The Jumbo 747 400 of
KLM was reserved for the ultra long flight from Schiphol to Bangkok. After a quick crew change ( didn't know autopilots had to eat ) of plus minus an hour, the aircraft was ready for the final segment of the 3 hour 30 mins lasting flight to Taipei.
Sounding easy at start as I had about an hour and half between each flight. Yet I almost missed my ride to Taipei. A severe thunderstorm overhead Zaventem delayed the boarding. The same dark clouds were at Schiphol delaying the disembarking. With only 10 minutes to go I just managed to squeeze myself into the 747 seats.
Bernice arranged my own little private jet. Though she forgot to mention that her other 500 friends would join me to the OC festAt Bangkok Transfer control we almost had to strip tol our underpants, Security is number one priority and joking with the security didn't improve things at allTime to get the clothes back on and look for Gate "Efoooo". I had to ask it trice, to grasp that the Thai Stewardess meant E4 gate. Though it could also be partly to my bad hearingEat your heart out Zaventem, this is what the Thai call a gate. No Micky Mouse stuff here ! The next day around 07:30 pm I landed at Taipei AirportGigabyte treated the present Overclockers and media guys as royals, This time a fancy 5 star
Miramar Garden Sadly due to my late arrival I apparently missed a very nice dinner.
Room 702 was shared with Lord Massman. At first glance looking like a normal executive office, though it turned out more like a
HWbot office. Really guys, Massman is even working during his holidays !
PJ seemed to be intending to use the New SF3D Infliction pot (made by rybalicious from Poland) for this contest.
When I went into the bathroom I was in for the first shock of the weekend. Marc Bro aka Bridge Beier was here.
The gory spots on the Vaseline pot tell more than a thousand words would ever do
