Kraken V4 does come with a plastic construction and very good quality of components so it won’t creak during utilization. The all-black design does highlight the RGB effects better, and the comfort is excellent thanks to the breathable fabric with memory foam cushions:
The entire area of the headband is padded for ensuring optimal comfort when compared to less expensive, entry-level models with only a small portion of padding in the middle:
The earcups do come with a closed design, while the rotation can be done with an angle over 90 degrees:
The middle area does come with a piano black plastic circular logo, with the RGB-enabled Razer emblem. The rest of the cover does feature lots of small perforations, to let the RGB lighting shine through:
On the left cup, we will note a microphone mute button, but also a volume wheel:
Next, we have a Power button but also a Status indicator, which will blink red when we have low battery power, will blink yellow when the battery has a medium charge status, will blink green when the battery is almost full and will stay lit green when the charging has been completed. This LED will also show the connection status in wireless mode. The USB-C can be spotted nearby:
