Razer Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2024-09-21

The DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is impressively lightweight for a wireless mouse and comes with the essentials from ultra-high-end mice such as the newly introduced Dynamic Sensitivity or the Rotation function. The shape fits like a glove, the buttons are durable thanks to the Optical Mouse Switches Gen-3, while the Focus X 26K Optical Sensor offers plenty of precision for most mainstream and competitive gamers.

Packaging, A Closer Look Part I

Another high-end Razer mouse has passed through our labs and this time we are talking about a member of the long-lasting DeathAdder series, the V3 HyperSpeed. This version is smaller than the previous versions and very light at about 55g excluding the cable and dongle and includes the Razer Focus X 26K Optical Sensor, with a maximum DPI of 26000 and a polling rate of 1000Hz in both wired and wireless modes. However, the product does support polling rate up to 8000Hz if the dedicated dongle is purchased separately!

The DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed is shipped inside a tiny box, with the usual Razer box art, while the main features are presented as small icons in the lower area. The HyperSpeed Wireless feature is also shown on the box, the technology Razer uses for low latency and low power consumption:

On the side, we will note logos of the eSports teams Razer does endorse, the box contents but also system requirements:

On the bottom area we do have the product name, the serial number but also the list of supported standards:

The back side does show some more product details and we will also learn of the 2-year warranty:

After removing the top packaging layer, we will note a secondary one with plain cardboard, but with a black Razer logo in the middle:

After lifting the cover, we will discover an introduction to the Razer community, by Min-Liang Tan, the Co-Founder & CEO:

The box is opening in an interesting manner, to reveal a separate compartment for the cable, the dongle but also the mouse:

The documentation is also available for us to get familiar with the DeathAdder V3 HyperSpeed:
