KIOXIA has sent our way another interesting product in the form of the EXCERIA G2 microSDXC card, a mainstream product with rated reads of about 100MB/s and writes of about 50MB/s, supporting 4K video recording and hi-def photography. The card does come with support for UHS Speed Class 3 (U3) and Video Speed Class 30 (V30), while the 1TB storage capacity should be enough to store lots of content at once.
The product is shipped inside a simple cardboard / plastic enclosure, which shows the card type but also its capacity:
On the back, we will note an easy opening area, some of the main highlights, but also some contact details regarding KIOXIA:
After the cardboard packaging layer is removed, we will note the card, but also its adapter are held protected inside a transparent plastic enclosure with a seal:
The LADP1 adapter will allow for more compatibility across devices:
In the back we have the compartment for inserting the card:
A lock button is also provided for making the card read-only:
On the bottom, we will note the gold-plated contacts:
The manufacture date and location is also printed here:
The small EXCERIA G2 does have a blue color, with a lighter accent in the middle; we will also note here the supported standards printed, along with the capacity:
On its back, we will obviously spot the 8 gold-plated contacts:
