With the 5TB capacity, Armor A60 offers enough storage space for a lot of applications, while the supported military standards offer plenty of protection when used in rough environments. While not as fast as a portable SSD, the price is considerably lower. When writing smaller files, the caching will be in effect, maximizing the drive performance in this regard.

A Closer Look Contd.

The USB port is covered by a small silicone cap:

 

 

 

For checking things in more detail, we will remove the four black fixing screws:

 

 

 

By removing the plastic shell, we will note the silicone layer, protecting both the drive and the adapter board:

The WD50NPJZ 5TB drive from Western Digital does take part of the Blue series and features a 15mm height, so it is bigger than regular laptop hard drives:
