The white version of the Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB Kit does perform the same as the black version in both XMP modes and provides the same levels of overclocking, offering the user some extra performance for the same price. Users can choose either versions to fit their setup color scheme or even build a “panda” system with one black and one white 32GB kit!

Packaging, A Closer Look

We will revisit the Pro Overclocking 32GB kit from Crucial, composed of two 16GB sticks with CAS latencies of 36-38-38-80 and a default running frequency of 6000MHz, now in white color! For compatibility with both Intel and AMD platforms, Crucial has included both EXPO and XMP profiles, two of each to suit all systems.

The modules are shipped in simple cardboard/plastic enclosures, with pink accents to differentiate it from the usual Pro kits:

On the back, we will get a short list of product features, in multiple languages, along with the product code name and the serial number:

The internal transparent plastic layer is reusable when you have the modules in storage:

The Crucial Pro Overclocking series does sport a professional look, while the heatspreaders employ origami-inspired lines. In the middle, we will note a Crucial brand logo, and the PCB has remained in black even if now we are dealing with white spreaders:

On the back, we will note the name of the RAM series, without the Overclocking word for some reason. We will be able to differentiate the modules faster if we look at the CAS timings on the integrated sticker:

The modules have nice, angled shapes in the corners:

On the top area, we will note the two sides of the heatspreaders which are joined by a thin plastic layer:
