Crucial Pro Overclocking 64GB (4x16GB) DDR5-6000 Setup Review

Getting a secondary set of the Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB kit is recommended in case you need more RAM for special applications such as multiple virtual machines, video editing, working with large databases and so on. The 4-module configuration runs just fine without extra voltage increases and we were quite amazed to see that these perform in some cases even better than the regular 2x16GB setup.

These modules do not feature RGB lighting, but have a nice looking heatsink, an upgrade from the regular Pros. As a side note would really like to see the return of the Ballistix/Tracer/Max modules, a model ahead of its time in terms of technology, which did feature configurable RGB but also thermal sensors, monitored via a dedicated application.

The 32GB memory kit can be purchased online for about 105 Euros, a value which has dropped quite a bit since our review of the first kit!
