Crucial Pro Overclocking 64GB (4x16GB) DDR5-6000 Setup Review

Getting a secondary set of the Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB kit is recommended in case you need more RAM for special applications such as multiple virtual machines, video editing, working with large databases and so on. The 4-module configuration runs just fine without extra voltage increases and we were quite amazed to see that these perform in some cases even better than the regular 2x16GB setup.

Packaging, A Closer Look

Crucial was nice and supplied us with a secondary set of Crucial Pro Overclocking 32GB (2x16GB) kit, for testing as a 4x16GB configuration and check out the performance/overclocking capabilities:

 

 

 

We would like to remind you that the new kits do not have RGB effects, but sport a professional look, while the heatspreaders employ origami-inspired lines. In the middle, we will note a Crucial brand logo:

 

 

 

 

The modules have nice, angled shapes in the corners:

 

 

 

On the back, we will note the name of the RAM series, without the Overclocking word for some reason. We will be able to differentiate the modules faster if we look at the CAS timings on the integrated sticker:
