CHERRY MC 9620 FPS RGB Gaming Mouse Review

Others/Mice & Keyboards by stefan @ 2024-06-02

MC 9620 FPS from CHERRY is an interesting mainstream offering, based on the proven PMW3360 and offering enough extra buttons for configuration purposes, when thinking more about a design meant for First Person Shooters. Granted, this is not one of the lightest mice we have encountered, but fits well in hand given its larger footprint with the palm rest extended, allowing accommodation of multiple hand shapes and sizes.

We would recommend this model for casual gamers, who do not mind working with a more heavier chassis; the weight can be further customized by working with the integrated weights, while the RGB elements are subtle. We did really enjoy the CHERRY logo in the back, which looks best if projected on a darker surface!

The software application is simple in terms of button remapping, but comes with a very little selection in terms or RGB lighting (the CHERRY logo remains red and cannot be modified).

We have noted only one negative with this product: the cable it is a bit stiffer versus the ones we have seen with other mice.

Online, the MC 9620 FPS can be found for sale for around 33 Euros.
