be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX 360mm AIO Review

Cooling/CPU Cooling by stefan @ 2023-10-12

The Pure Loop 2 FX 360 from be quiet is an improvement in terms of performance versus the Silent Loop 2 360mm we have tested a while ago, mainly due to the increased performance of the included fans, the Light Wings 120mm which now have a maximum rotational speed of 2500RPM instead of 2100. Even if the pump does have a high RPM, it remains very silent during operation thanks to the double decoupled design, while the ARGB effect complexity is managed by the system motherboard.

A Closer Look Part IV

The two accessories we won’t use during install are the supplied thermal compound and the black cable ties:

The Pure Loop 2 FX 360 is composed from a large 277 x 120 x 27 mm (HxWxD) radiator, a 94.5 x 83 x 42 mm (HxWxD) cooling block, while the pump is built into the unit tubing:

The cooling block is quite identical to the one we have seen along with the Pure Loop 240mm AIO which we have reviewed back in 2022, with a sleek look (machined aluminum top cover surrounded by ARGB lighting):

On the top and bottom area, we will note the fixing screws:

Between the tubing, be quiet! has placed the ARGB cabling, which ends with a familiar connector:

On the bottom area of the nickel-plated copper plate, we will note a warning sticker:

The tubing is sleeved for additional durability:

As mentioned before, the pump assembly is placed directly on the tubing, named doubly decoupled PWM-pump. This type of mechanism allows for minimal vibration inside the case, but also a silent operation is assured:
